AFRI-CONVERSE is a platform of networking and informal discussion among people who hold their heart in Africa.
UNDP convenes it on every Premium Friday to galvanize discussion on African Development leading to TICAD 7. With a theme "Grass-root Proposal for TICAD 7- Voices of Africa", AFRI-CONVERSE #4 shares views of African and Japanese civil society towards TICAD 7.
In August 2018, civil society representatives from across the continent and Japan gathered in Cameroon to discuss about the local people's needs and expectation towards economic and social development, in light of Africa's Agenda 2063 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), for leaving no one behind.
The session will look into the outcome of this two-day conference and local people's proposal to TICAD 7.
